Two men have been charged after police allegedly found 147kg of cannabis packed into duffle bags in the boot of a car during a roadside stop in Goulburn.
NSW Police said officers from the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command stopped the vehicle on Hume Street about 9.20am on Monday, February 23, for roadside testing.
Police said they searched the car and found 14 duffle bags filled with cannabis with an estimated street value of about $750,000.
The men, aged 26 and 31 were arrested and taken to Goulburn Police Station.
Police charged them with supplying a prohibited drug in a quantity greater than or equal to a large commercial quantity.
Police said they were refused bail and appeared in Bail Division Court 3 on Tuesday, February 24. The court formally refused bail.
The pair are due to face Goulburn Local Court on Wednesday, April 15.
