Australia’s Jakara Anthony has added a second Winter Olympic gold to her collection. She won the women’s dual moguls at Milano Cortina 2026 in Livigno, Italy. She beat Jaelin Kauf in the final, with Elizabeth Lemley taking bronze.
Dual moguls made its Olympic debut this Games. It turned the sport into a knockout bracket where two skiers go head to head on parallel courses.
Judges scored them on turns, aerials and speed. Heavy snowfall reduced visibility during the finals. The last run was close enough that Anthony had to wait for the judges’ call before the winning score appeared, 20 to 15.

Three days later, she used the new format to reset and work through match ups, and she came away with gold. Bronze was decided separately. Lemley edged Perrine Laffont in the small final, 18 to 17.
Speaking on television after the medal, Anthony looked past this Games and signalled she is not done. She said: “I can’t see myself retiring any time soon.”
She also joked about how she might mark the moment. She mentioned everything from surfboards to a coffee machine, then landed on the simplest option: “I want a puppy.”
